There's a first time for everything...

and that means the ZOO!!!

The weather was nice, the kids were happy, and all the animals were out. Collin enjoyed his first trip to the zoo. I'm not a souvenir type person, but I did stop by the little zoo shop and buy Collin the adorable brown t-shirt he's wearing! Which brings me to my next point... why he's in his socks. Once I put the brown shirt on, it didn't match the shoes he was wearing when we got there. So they had to be removed for the sake of clashing.






Collin and I wanted to take this bench home. So cute!

Bob The Builder

I met my friend Steph and her adorable daughter Emma at the Fresno Met to visit Bob The Builder today. We had a great morning with the kids and we got in for free! The first 25 visitors Wednesday-Friday receive free admission. A nice little perk in today's troubling economy!




Collin had fun with the activities and watching all the kids but his biggest smiles came in the parking lot when Emma was making him laugh.

Bedtime Stories

Collin is STANDING UP! I love his look of excitement once he gets on his feet.

He starts by glancing at his books. This is when I say "we look with our eyes not with our hands."

That works for about 30 seconds. I keep scooting the books farther away. I would be so sad if he tore out a page.

Then it's hands on! Gimme those books.

Ready for story time! We might need to bump that crib down sooner than we thought!

Busy with everything...

but blogging! I admit I have been a bad blogger. We have had such an adventurous summer. I'll let the pictures do the talking for me. Mainly because I want to take full advantage of Collin's nap right now by trying to squeeze one in for myself!
