15 Months

I know I say it every time, but can you believe this kid is already 15 months old? I can't.

He can't either

Collin, you are such a big boy. You bring so much joy to Dada and I every day! You're a great eater and sleeper. Cuddling is one of your many strengths. You LOVE bath time.
Books and sidewalk chalk are a few of your favorite things right now. Climbing is quite an obsession for you. You can get on top of all our furniture in a matter of seconds.
You usually walk around with a picture frame of one of your loved ones. I can tell family is already very important to you, and we love that. You are the happiest little guy we know and your sweet demeanor is much appreciated!

The garbage man is entertainment for you every Friday morning. Feeding the turtles and playing outside keeps you busy.

Swim Time

No excuses for lagging on the blog! I will do my best to catch up. Starting with our very own little Michael Phelps. Collin just completed 8 lessons of Mommy and Me classes at Jan Thomas swim school. He loved his first lesson and even clapped for himself when he came up from the water (which was a proud mommy moment, especially since all the other kids were crying). The second lesson he was a little hesitant but did great. He is the "fearless" type and now tries to jump in the pool fully clothed the minute we get there. Thank you to my mom and cousin Lisa for coming to take pictures of our little fish. The swim lessons were birthday presents, which I highly recommend as a wonderful gift! (just a hint for next year)

Collin totally cheered himself on before getting his medal and ribbon. So cute!

Collin didn't really understand why the other kids were crying. He just looked at them like, "Guys, we just got our first gold medal, you should be happy." Although Collin didn't want to wear his medal.

Some people like change...

After looking at my drivers licenses from the past 13 years, I don't think I'm one of them! The only change I had was my big hair, bangs and what side my part is on. I guess I'm kinda boring like that.

Easter - volume 2

Sunday morning we had brunch and an egg hunt at my parents house with my mom's whole family. It was a bit chilly during the egg hunt but the kids didn't seem to mind a bit. Then we enjoyed some baseball in the backyard and kite flying in the cul-de-sac. The wind picked up just in time for Cameron to show off his mad kite skills.

Easter - volume 1

Saturday night we had a delicious dinner at Don and Joan's and an egg hunt for the kids. Collin understood the concept of it all and he really enjoyed looking for the eggs. We had so much fun watching them run around. Hunter is a pro at the egg hunt and Rachel got to find her first egg.

Cousins, Cousins Everywhere!

Easter weekend was full of family fun! On Saturday we got to spend the afternoon with my dad's family. My cousins Tyler and Matthew had babies on the same day, April 13th, and they came home for a visit to celebrate Kaitlyn and Logan's 1st Birthdays! Since they live out of town, we don't get to see them as much as we would like. The kids had fun and despite the fact that they are all teething, these babies were so good. Lot's of drooling, eating toys, and paci stealing going on. Here are a few pictures from the afternoon.

Serious Business

Collin has been making this very serious face lately. He has always been such a happy smiling little guy, so I'm not sure where he got this from.
